On Worldwide Pillow Fight Day 2012…Philadelphia hosted their own 4th Annual Pillow Fight at Washington Sq Park. Several hundreds people of all ages showed up to engage in some non violent solo and team oriented pillow fighting/games. There were costumes, capture the flag (pillow fighting edition), naps and plenty of classic hits to the back of the heads with big soft pillows.
The event was put together by URBAN PLAYGROUND of Philadelphia.
Philadelphia was not the only city partaking in a massive pillow fight. Other fights were scheduled all around the world on the same day or close to the same day. You can see the entire list of locations at the link below.
